Spaghetti Measuring Tool

Spaghetti Measuring Tool

thingiverse

Use this tool to measure out servings of spaghetti with precision. Measure 1, 2, 3 or 4 servings perfectly with our custom design for smaller 3D printers measuring 120mm. The holes are strategically placed at 20mm, 28mm, 35mm and 40mm diameters. Each serving amounts to approximately 315 Sq mm of space. Fun math fact: When you double the diameter of a circle, its area quadruples. We designed our tool with this principle in mind. The small hole for one serving is 20 mm, while the large hole for four servings measures 40mm. The area of a circle is calculated using Pi * Radius Squared. Remember Pi from school? It's approximately 3.14. Pi represents a constant ratio between a circle's circumference and diameter. The small circle is 60 mm around, plus .14, while the largest one measures 120mm around. Math and spaghetti have more in common than you think!
