Spadle and KSpadle (Spork)

thingiverse

Ever been on a backcountry trip, savoring a delicious boil-in-the-bag meal straight from the bag, only to find your spork can't reach the bottom corner?\nYou need a tool that's long enough and shaped just right to get into those hard-to-reach areas. That's where the Spadle comes in - at 9 3/4 inches, it's the perfect length for getting every last bit of your re-hydrated meal.\nIf you're traveling with kids, try the KSpadle instead. It's the same length as the Spadle, but the spoon end is smaller and more comfortable for little hands. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Printrbot Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.10mm to 0.15mm Infill: 25% Notes: A layer height of 0.10mm to 0.15mm works well for this design. While 0.10mm produces a smoother spoon end, you can get away with up to 0.15mm. Be sure to sand the spoon end (see below) for optimal results. Infill is set at 25% for a good balance between strength and weight. The outer shell and bottom shell thickness are both set to 1.2mm. Tips for Printing: The Printrbot Plus has a 10"x10" build plate, but the spoon will need to be rotated to fit properly. Unfortunately, this printer has some issues with overhangs on the underside of the spoon end, which can result in "bleed out". Don't worry - you can trim this excess filament with a knife and then sand it down with 150 grit sandpaper followed by 300 grit wet sand paper for a smooth finish.
