Spade 2 Cookie Cutter
thingiverse
My sister was craving a cookie cutter shaped like a Spade, the kind you'd find in a deck of cards. So, I downloaded an SVG file from the internet and got to work. The walls of my design are about 2 millimeters thick, with a chamfer added to the outside edge to ensure it would cut through dough smoothly. No support structures were used, as I set the layer height to 0.02 millimeters on a raft. To be honest, I'm not a fan of using rafts due to all the cleanup involved, but I wanted to make sure the layers stuck in place. So, that's how it was done. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50% Designing This Project SVG files are excellent tools for designers. I opened the file, extruded it, added a shell, and chamfered the edges - and that was it!
