The #dearMoon project is a groundbreaking lunar tourism mission and innovative art project spearheaded by Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, who masterminded and funded this extraordinary venture. At its core, the project centers around a private spaceflight featuring Maezawa himself, several talented artists, and one or two skilled crew members aboard SpaceX's cutting-edge Starship spacecraft as it embarks on a historic circumlunar trajectory around the Moon.
