SpaceX Key Fob

Created especially for SpaceX enthusiasts... a simple key fob made with the logo style to form the outline shape of the key fob. They look great when printed in 2 or 3 colors. Just pause your machine at the right times during printing, swap out the filament color. To make the SpaceX Key Fob multi-colored (based on standard scale use), please follow this guide: spacex_2.stl This is the 2-color version. The base is 2.85mm tall, so swap your filament at 3mm through the print and change the filament color if you can pause by mm build height. If not, you'll need to manually pause your machine. In this case, watch the print closely and when you see the base surface is fully covered and the machine starts only printing the lettering, pause it, swap out the filament, then restart to complete the print. spacex_3.stl First pause as above. The second change comes 1mm build height later (3.85mm), which won't take long at all because you're just printing the lettering at that stage. Use the same principle by watching the lettering closely as it forms. The final part is only the long part of the X, and it prints an additional 1mm higher than the rest of the text so can be printed in a third color. This is a small, quick, and easy print that won't use much filament. At standard scale, the fob is 85mm in length including the key ring attachment part, making it similar in size to many car remote controls. Please note that the design can be scaled up or down, but scaling down may affect the sharpness of the text as not all machines will print finely and precisely enough.
