UPDATE: 9/22/2106 All stage one segment files have been replaced. UPDATE: 8/1/2016 Several issues noticed during a test print have been corrected. The hinge area on the landing legs has undergone revisions. Grid fins are now more accurate, though their printing performance remains uncertain. Geometry errors in the engines have been rectified to ensure better printing results in the v002 file. Tube and pipe dimensions have been adjusted based on improved reference images. Modeling is complete; a test print is currently underway. The model continues to be updated and refined. Anyone who has modeled a part of this rocket is encouraged to share their work, enabling further improvements. Several project ideas are being considered for utilizing this rocket once the mesh is optimized and printing becomes smooth and reliable. Unless printed at an unusually large scale, many details may not become apparent in the print. Some artistic liberties were taken during modeling to add detail, though the final product does not perfectly replicate the actual rocket. Each mission features subtle variations in design, making every model distinct. This update will be ongoing as the model is sliced and issues are addressed during printing.
