This detailed model of the SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket includes several key features: 1. A first stage with locking landing legs that secure into place. 2. Grid fins that fold and rotate for added versatility. 3. A detachable interstage section. 4. A detachable second stage with an attachment point for your own satellites! 5. Interchangeable payload options, including the payload fairings or dragon cargo capsule, which can be attached to the top of the second stage. 6. A dragon cargo capsule with a detachable trunk, side panels, solar panels, and nose cone cover. 7. Note that there are four larger holes on the first stage, which will be used for the Falcon Heavy expansion kit! Assembly instructions: 1. Glue all four components of the first stage together using the provided posts and slots as guides. Piece 1 goes on the bottom and piece 4 on top. 2. Attach four landing leg struts to part 1 of the first stage, snapping them onto the cylinders in each cutout. 3. Attach the first stage engines to the bottom of the first stage, which will snap into place but can also be secured with glue for added stability. 4. Connect the landing legs to the first stage engines using the landing leg axles, adding a small amount of glue to secure them in place. 5. Attach four grid fins to their connectors using the grid fin axles and add a small amount of glue to secure them. 6. Glue parts 1 and 2 of the second stage together, ensuring that the ridge on each piece is aligned properly. 7. Secure the second stage engine to the bottom of part 2, where it will fit snugly into place. 8. All other pieces are detachable, including the interstage, second stage, payload fairings, and dragon trunk, which attach by inserting hooks into previous stages and twisting clockwise. Printing Recommendations: 1. Print landing legs and any pieces with attachment hooks with at least three perimeters for added strength. 2. Use supports for all printed parts to ensure stability and prevent warping. 3. When printing the landing legs, orient them with the narrow end facing down towards the bed for optimal results.
