Desktop T.E.L (Transporter, Erector, Launcher) aka Strongback. This desktop display is a free sample of my full highly detailed and functional Strongback model available at this link - https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/miniatures/vehicles/strongback-stand-for-falcon I designed it specifically to be easy and satisfying to build, while also being a strong and accurate replica. No screws, glue or hardware are required to build it. Each part has been tested and refined until they were satisfying to assemble. This sample demonstrates the upper working grippers and the method of construction. The full model has functional clamps that lock into holes previously designed into my Falcon Heavy & Falcon 9 rockets available here and at CG Trader.com Details: - Approx. print time - 25 hours @ 10% infill & 0.2mm layer height - Height - 211mm – 8.3070 inches - Height with Falcon 9 = 264mm – 10.3937 inches - Width = 93mm – 3.6614 inches - Depth = 138mm – 5.4330 inches - Total weight @ 10% infill = 200g – 4.8678 ounces - Design time = +-3 weeks This may be a small sample of the much bigger model, but it is a fantastic desk model that is easy to build with the help of the illustrated instructions which show each step clearly and simply.
