I wanted something straightforward to design in order to hone my skills with 123D Design. So I created a 1/200 scale kit for Spaceship Friede from Fritz Lang's iconic 1929 film "Die Frau im Mond". Here are the steps to build it. Instructions Printing on a Replicator 2, PLA, at a 0.2mm thickness, with one layer, and a 5% infill was the choice. The fins are perfectly short so that they print upright without any issues. Helper discs can come in handy during this process. After completing the initial coat, two applications of Home Depot primer filler sealed everything well, and some rigorous sanding followed each application.
