I've been using a type of filament spool holder that relies on cones mounted on a threaded rod, but when I acquired a reel of IC3D filament with the same form factor as Makerbot, it didn't fit my existing holders. To adapt the IC3D reel to my current setup, I created two simple spacers. These spacers are extremely straightforward - they were actually my first printed items designed in Fusion 360. Designing This Project This was the very first thing I ever designed using Fusion 360 -- it's an excellent and free tool for home users.
