These are for spacing out models that are mounted on 20mm bases so that they are a consistent distance apart as if they are on 25mm bases. It means you don't have to make completely new unit trays and you don't have to re-base your models. Pre-empting the new changes for Warhammer: The Old World, and allowing all your oldhammer and midhammer models to stay on their old bases while still playing TOW games. One version of each is made from very simple shapes, just right-angles. The other has 1mm of angled bevelling in each direction, similar to most miniature bases. They have a 1mm clearance around the model, and a 1mm clearance between spacers, so nothing should be a tight fit.
