I have always wanted something to play around with for creating mini models etc and that also could be generic for fastening small things. These allow for regular M3 screws and nuts wich is common to have at home if you build and design 3d items . I would suggest you use 10-15mm long screws if you do not already own any,and you can by printing several copies build small mechanics etc at home and test your designs. Also added some wheels in case you wanted to build a miniature car etc. All holes follow same spacing so it is easy to build lets say miniature supports with the prints and some screws. Also added a plastic washer if needed.
