Adjusting the spring tension of the extruder idler on a Prusa i3 MK2(S) involves tweaking the length of the spring. According to Prusa, the ideal spring length is approximately 13mm. However, I prefer a slightly looser tension, so I use a spacer that's 14mm high. To achieve my desired tension, I instruct my slicer to adjust the spacer accordingly, whether I'm leaving the part in place for printing or removing it altogether.
