Spacer for mini lath spindle.

Spacer for mini lath spindle.

I made this spacer for my harbor freight 7x10 mini lathe, which was necessary when I replaced the stock spindle bearings with tapered ones. The original one was too long. This is Part #15 from the manual - the spacer that's behind the drive gear on the spindle. The original was a bit too long. This should work for the Seig and many other mini lathes. I printed it using PLA, but it would be ideal to print with Nylon. I also used 100% infill when printing it. If it fits too tight, you can sand the center hole with a Dremel or by hand, file it etc. If it's too long, you can file/sand or cut it shorter if you use 100% infill. This spacer has worked perfectly on two spindles I've used it on.
