Spacer Bracket for a 1U Power Supply
thingiverse
My friend Brian hands out a do-it-yourself NAS machine every year. We weren't thrilled with how his 1U PSU fit inside the U-NAS NSC-800 case. It would work just fine at home, but we weren't happy that it would be flopping around during shipping. I created a quick bracket to keep the power supply from moving vertically, so it should survive shipping now! This part is customizable, so you should be able to make it fit other situations. For another project involving the U-NAS case, Brian needed to fit a pair of SSDs and a fairly large 10-gigabit Ethernet card. The U-NAS SSD brackets didn't leave much room for that, so I added a pair of mounts to our existing PSU spacer bracket. The model with the SSD mounts is slightly different from what we actually used in Brian's case. I eliminated most of the unnecessary support between the two SSD mounts, so you should be able to spin it around 180 degrees if you prefer.
