I created a customized handrest by modifying the existing one since my newer model spacemouse wouldn't fit properly. While working on it, I also added a convenient slot for charging the cable and a dedicated space to store the USB dongle when not in use. I'm pleased with the original design's shape, so I left all of that intact.
