Spacefleet A-H Alliance Corvette Collection (2mm)
thingiverse
The Tiger class of corvettes were developed by the Astro-Heavy Industry Alliance in the years before the mercenary incursions in the outer rim. The class were intended to be somewhat modular, making them easier to maintain and upgrade than purpose built designs. They proved popular both in the A-H fleet and as an export product as the design aged. Numerous upgrades, variants, and wholesale rebuilds were undertaken as the mercenary incursions dragged on, eventually resulting in a wide variety of Corvettes. The Puma version of the corvette is by far the most common, being armed mainly with PDC turrets and a modest missile battery forward. These are updated versions of the original Tiger models with improved fire control and sensor systems. The ubiquitous Panther sacrifices half its PDCs and missile battery in favor of pulse cannons, making it the most capably close action combatant of the class. The distinctive Lynx variant mounts of a pair of missile pods in the outriggers, supported by a reduced array of PDCs. The Leopard variant mounted a compromise mix of PDCs and a few pulse turrets in an effort to retain the point defense role while still bringing some energy firepower to an action. The ambitious Jaguar variant mounted a spinal railgun just off the centerline along with an array of PDCs. Finally the Fox heavy Corvette marked a radical rebuild of the class in an effort to grant them more ability to resist combat damage. The Foxes are heavier hulls with twin drives and a mix of pulse turrets and PDCs. These are generic starships modeled in roughly 2mm scale (about 1/900 or so). Weapons and drive systems would make them comparable to Expanse, Homeworld, Full Thrust, or similar technology levels. Starships are armed with a mix of point defense guns, missiles, pulse and beam energy weapons, and of course railguns.
