Spaceballs The Flamethrower, the kids love this one... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post a make with pictures if you make it. I do this because i like making others happy, your pictures make me happy. Thanks. All the parts are in the best orientation and should be able to be printed without support, although i do recommend a brim on some of the parts with less contact area. The parts that would require support should be small enough to bridge properly on most printers. None of them will be seen, so even if you get some drooping, it shouldn't matter. You will need something to make the sign out of. I included the measurements in a picture. Decals are in a PDF. There are 2 sign clamps, one with a 2mm gap and one with a 6mm gap. 6mm should fit 1/4" mdf or plywood. 2mm in you have sheet metal. You will also need 2 M6 or 1/4" bolts to hold the sign on. length depends on material used. Assembly should be straightforward with the exlpoded diagram in the pictures. Some minor trimming may be required. Given the orientation of the layer lines, i would not trust the dowels to hold this together. Use them for alignment and glue it together. The dowels are 1mm shorter than the holes are deep to be sure your glue can make good contact. The rear handle has a 5/8" hole in the end. I put a brass hose fitting in mine for some added detail. I updated the trigger after i made the exploded parts diagram, so it looks a little different. I didnt feel like staging the diagram again.
