The Shy King's forces had conquered the galaxy, but before they could take a well-deserved nap, a group of financially savvy Space Zombies hatched an idea. Their diverse financial backgrounds included shrewd real estate deals, lucrative trades in precious stones, and some questionable ventures that bordered on illegality. Yet, they all agreed that their wealth would be idle if it wasn't invested while they slept through the millennia. They pooled their earnings, bought stocks pegged to the rising "Homo Sapiens" biomass volume, purchased promising galactic real estate, and deposited a large portion into high-yield compound interest accounts at the First Galactic Space Bank. Eighty million years later, when they awoke, they found themselves sitting on an enormous fortune. I'm talking about Mad Money, Hella Skrilla, PAYOLA - the works! Their wealth grew exponentially, creating an alternate dimension accessible only to those as wealthy as they were. This suited them just fine, as their immense riches allowed them to socialize with beings of similar stature. The Payed Ones, as they came to be known, employed a unique strategy when attacking their enemies. They would teleport from their One-Percent-Dimensional realm directly onto the battlefield and flash fat stacks of red hot dolla dolla bills at their opponents, causing them to drop dead from jealousy or flee to check on their paltry stock portfolios. After the battle, they would return to their opulent space mansions, much to the relief of the rest of the Space Zombies. The Payed Ones' presence tended to spark heated debates that lasted for generations. Many beings throughout the galaxy feared the Space Zombies due to their superior technology, relentless perseverance, or exquisite taste in bone-based vehicles. However, none instilled primal fear into other species like these masters of Galactic Economic Warfare. It was well-known that no matter how many accolades they earned in battle or enemies they crushed beneath their boots, they would never match the Payed Ones' immense wealth.
