Setekh Since neither GW or ForgeWorld ever produced a model for the Setekh, it fell to me (Heaven help us all!). This beast at full height stands just hair over 9 inches tall (around 230mm for you metric types) This makes it 2 inches taller than the McFarlane Necron, so if you decide to build a massive Necron army, you can use him as a Tomb Lord. Included are 5 additional hand versions in various positions (closed for hold the staff, pointing, etc.) Setekh has 16 different joints for poseability Design Notes I didn't have much to draw from other than a few pictures in the graphic novel and a kitbash someone did on YouTube ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCvkKNFC1Q0], and part 2: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkgQOpJNomE&t=140s]. I was tempted to make it bigger, but I wanted to keep it somewhat in scale with the pictures. This was also the first human-like model I've ever done and it was a learning experience. Making the joints wasn't too bad once I got the hang of it, along with the rounded shapes of the arms and legs. The head was definitely the hardest part. I'm not a Necron player, but if you use this in your army, or just print it, I'd love to see photos! The Fluff Setekh was crafted as one of the greatest creations of the Necrontyr. During ancient times, its purpose was to bring death to every corner of the galaxy whilst raising black pyramid monuments to honour its deathless masters. Such acts were conducted on a thousand blasted and ruined worlds. For reasons unknown, it became trapped within its hibernation sarcophagus and lost onboard the Space Hulk Kronos where it drifted in its sleep for sixty million years. During the Age of the Imperium, Inquisitor Jena Orechiel led her retinue (including her son, Kal Jerico) to deprive the awakening C'tan of the Setekh. The ancient creation had awoken and had forgotten its great purpose but recognized that invaders had intruded upon its sanctuary thus leading to it taking its wrath against them. After awakening, it had only tapped into a fraction of its power whilst drawing power from its sarcophagus, where it effortlessly killed the Ordo Xenos retinue and members of the Deathwatch with powerful energy blasts. Cyclonic torpedos were later deployed against the Space Hulk where it was believed that the Setekh was either destroyed by being blasted into the warp or sufficiently damaged that it became useless to its C'tan masters.
