My go-to quad was the QAV 210. I've uploaded plenty of parts for it on Thingiverse. When bottom mount frames became popular, I started flying a Hyperlite and the QAV-X, with more recent flights on the Obsession. They're great quads, but I missed top mount. The CG felt better to me, and my batteries never got damaged as badly. This was my first attempt at creating "my" ultimate QAV210-like frame. Since I built this quad as my first KISS setup, it never became a daily flyer. It wasn't "super simple." Not long ago, I decided to rebuild it with current betaflight and figured the frame wasn't what I'd design now, so I made V2 instead. That's why I'm uploading this one. I recommend using CNC Madness for carbon cutting: http://www.cncmadness.com/home.html. The bottom plate should be 3mm or 4mm carbon (3mm is cheaper and lighter), with the carbon weave perpendicular to the arms for maximum rigidity. Use 1.5mm carbon for the top plate, 6x 25mm aluminum standoffs, 12x M3 screws, a TPU camera mount printed on its side, and an SMA mount upright, both with support. A denser infill or thicker walls are recommended. I only made a 40-degree cam tilt at the time, so that's all there is for now. This quad really only fits a Runcam Mini. Use a right-angle SMA pigtail with the mount, and the session mount band isn't needed but helps prevent corner splitting down layers.
