:Space Station - Space Shuttle Dock Assembly

This space station model can journey between planets using its own rockets. Docking with a NASA shuttle, it embarks on interplanetary travel while the shuttle carries a landing vehicle as cargo. The docking craft stays in orbit above the planet; the lander descends to the foreign surface. On return, the shuttle re-enters Earth's atmosphere, while the dock remains in orbit - both reusable. This concept is preliminary, represented only in 3D.
