In accordance with the five-year plan of the air forces, a two-stage launch plane project commenced in 1965 under the supervision of OKB-155 A.I.Mikoyan's engineering and design department, led by Lozinsky (55 years old), renowned for his expertise. The SPIRAL project aimed to equip the Soviet Union with the capability to engage in space warfare. This is not a direct replica of the original model, rather it reflects my interpretation of its details.
