Space Shuttle simplified cnc/laser
cults3d
Starting in 1981 the Space Shuttle embarked on an impressive journey of 135 flights, transporting up to a staggering 24.5 tons of material into Low Earth Orbit. It's safe to say the Shuttle was the workhorse of NASA, with the exception of the Enterprise, named after a renowned spaceship. Every other orbiter bore the name of a famous sailing ship. My build was expertly crafted on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft, utilizing 6mm beech plywood and a precise spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. The components were carefully glued together and meticulously sanded to create an exceptional toy suitable for boys of all ages. A laser cutter could potentially serve as a superior alternative tool for crafting smaller versions of this model. For more designs, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/Spielsachen/Flugzeugmodelle.
