For my Makerbot objectives in 20XX, I've designed an impressive space shuttle. Despite some fidelity loss from lofting a 3-view blueprint, the red ABS provided by @matthew_laberge enhances its appearance remarkably. There is always room for improvement, but as they say, creations escape perfection. I utilized "tall" prints on my Makerbot to create this model, which measures approximately 125mm in STL. It prints flawlessly on my machine. To support the wings, I designed shims that print beneath them. Interestingly, warping under the wings actually aids in better wing printing. We used ABS with 10% fill and my wife generated the .gcode using skeinfox. After making necessary tweaks, we achieved a high-quality surface finish.
