This model of the Space Shuttle stands at over 12" high and can be found in Google's 3D Warehouse (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4c41b6547d241ffd9aa9d7f676c1fd7e&prevstart=0). It features detachable parts that allow for various configurations, including being on the launch pad or with boosters attached. The tallest piece measures about 115mm, and printing instructions are available. Printed using a layer height of .25mm, 0 extra shells, and 10% infill, some parts require additional reinforcement for strength. The Orbiter, booster, and fuel tank each consist of three pieces that are pinned together with 3mm filament and glued (optional, using acetone). Attach the Orbiter to the fuel tank with filament, then add the boosters in the same manner. The engine piece snaps into the back of the Orbiter, while nozzle pieces fit into the booster openings. Some sanding might be necessary for a perfect fit. Have fun!
