The initial LP launch version of our model showcases the exterior design of the space shuttle orbiter, coupled with external tanks and solid rocket boosters. Meticulously crafted to scale, it features accurate aerodynamic surface models for the spacecraft, tank, and boosters. Notably, landing gear and control surfaces are absent from this model. This model is available in 10 diverse formats. The shuttle program, initiated in the late '50s with design and development experiments, operated through the '80s and '90s until its conclusion in the 2000s. Its Space Shuttle orbiter proved to be a safe system, experiencing only two fatal exceptions involving vehicle destruction and crew casualties. The program's historic significance lies in its pioneering reusable spaceflight system with remarkable implications, capabilities, and duration.
