Space Ship; Battle Cruiser
thingiverse
A warship is designed as a versatile vessel that fills the gap between an attack ship and a capital ship. Equipped with substantial firepower and sufficient armor to endure even intense battles, this naval unit stands at the forefront of any fleet's combat capabilities.\nThe odd tilt in the viewpoint may be misleading, but it was not intended; I created this model to showcase its robustness and striking design.\nUtilizing Autodesk Inventor 2014 as my toolset, I brought forth a cruiser that commands attention. Though simple, its compact turrets are finely detailed, inviting closer examination. Enlarging the scale reveals that this vessel is capable of holding its own on any battlefield.\nAs the model will need internal supports during printing, be prepared to address structural weaknesses; nevertheless, with care and patience, it can be printed without significant difficulties.\nThe inspiration for this project came from http://infinite-auran.deviantart.com/art/Missile-Cruiser-Front-View-182644832 - I adapted their work to create a functional cruiser. Though the purpose may differ - space combat scenarios are, unfortunately, fictional - the core challenge remained: recreating an intricate design in three dimensions.\nI made an update recently by cutting the model in half; now, with this new dimension in place, it's much easier to print without compromising structural integrity, making this design more practical and feasible.
