Space Saver Bag Vacuum Adapter
thingiverse
I'm a big fan of ziploc space saver bags, they're generally pretty great but sometimes they can be a bit prone to tearing in my opinion. However, I've always had trouble getting my vacuum's hose to fit on the suction hole - it's just never seemed to work out for me. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design a solution that would make things easier. I created two separate parts to help with this problem. The main body can be printed in whatever material you like, but keep in mind that the less shrinkage there is, the better - about 15% infill is sufficient. For the base piece, I used Ninjaflex at 100% infill and recommended settings. To attach them together, I simply aligned the groove on one part with the corresponding groove on the other and applied a bit of gorilla glue around the inside of the base before applying weight and pressure to hold everything in place for an hour while it dried. The adapter's diameter is 16mm, so feel free to scale as needed. If I can figure out how later, I might even create a customizer for this part.
