Printer Requirements This project demands a 3D printer with a workspace of 200x200x200mm and a nozzle of 0.4mm (or smaller) in diameter. The printer must have a bed with excellent adhesion, such as a heated PEI bed. It should also be highly dimensionally accurate to minimize post-print clean-up work. Additionally, the printer needs to print overhangs effectively using the selected material, requiring calibration for optimal results. Printing Instructions Print all parts exactly as they are, since required support structures are already integrated into the models. However, the printer must be capable of printing some overhangs with the chosen material, necessitating calibration adjustments accordingly. Post-Printing Clean-up The top of the case requires removal of support structures at each key location. This can be done by simply grasping them using a pair of pliers and twisting them around their longer side to break them off. After removal, the rough key cavity walls should be filed flat, as well as the lip for the key latch. If you plan to install LEDs, drill holes all the way through using a 3mm drill bit. Similarly, drill out mounting holes to ensure they are large enough. Case Bottom Clean-up Remove support material from the cable opening at the back of the case and use a 2.5mm drill bit to enlarge all mounting holes. Finally, tap these holes using an M3 tap for secure installation.
