Space grid structure member assembly

This assembly represents members of space grid systems known as MERO space grid systems. Mero tubes feature conical end fittings that are welded to the ends of the members. Members connect to spherical nodes using a bolt positioned at the center of the sleeve. Nodes are made of solid forged steel spheres with threaded holes in them. The bolts and nodes are galvanized for durability. Bolts are inserted through holes in the tubes located near the ends. Three types of Mero nodes exist: standard, regular, and special nodes. Standard nodes have 18 surfaces at connecting angles of 45, 60, or 90 degrees, along with their multiples. Regular nodes feature 10 surfaces. Special nodes have holes drilled at any required angle, ensuring flexibility in design. The minimum angle between two adjacent holes is a consistent 35 degrees.
