This design reverses the order of the hub and rod, placing insertions in the hub and sockets in the rod for a potentially stronger connection. It aims to reduce the amount of plastic used on the hub but may not necessarily achieve it. The design allows for easy micro-adjustments and multiple rods at various angles relative to flat. An experiment, this design also reduces support material requirements. Updated instructions include printing numerous hubs and rod connectors, placing grabbers on rods, and sliding them onto hub spokes. The design is moldable and could potentially use less plastic.
