Space Cowboy Personal Chest Shield Generator

I designed this Space Cowboy Costume using Autodesk Fusion360 and Inventor, then printed it in 6 separate parts. The small buttons were created on a Formlabs Form 2, while the rest of the costume was printed on a Matterhackers Pulse. Layer heights varied from .1 to .3mm, with infill levels ranging from 5-100% depending on the part and its intended use. FDM components were made with random PLA, whereas resin parts utilized standard gray Formlabs resin. Four LEDs in a parallel configuration powered by two AAA batteries illuminated the center "power core," with no additional resistors required. The straps and lights were secured to the chest piece using duck tape. Simple in design, the straps were straightforward to create. Minimal paint was used - just black acrylic watered down to give the costume a weathered, grimy appearance. I'm pleased with how this turned out overall.
