Space Buggy

Classic space buggy 886 from planet 483-1, I knew the grey was a bit too dark, but it's what I had on hand and needed an additional top layer to seal in all its perimeter perfection. Mostly, this design is my testing ground for experimenting with my new 0.6 nozzle at precision layer heights of .48 and .24 millimeters. Every detail is carefully crafted, with components sized up 380% larger than normal to perfectly fit the iconic Skimbal Giant minifig available online, you can view it here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:170076. Many thanks go out to cfinke for standard parts, which made this design all the more impressive! This creation is based on a customized version of this other awesome project: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:615256. It was crafted with Customizer, another great tool found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=615256. Don't miss the intricate details such as the helmet and air tank found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:654286. I must admit that getting the tires and wheels to fit together took a bit of force, but they ultimately do come together smoothly. As for the antenna, it was shortened to fit snugly within my build volume; although, looking back, I had just enough space to print out the full-sized version and avoid any snug fits on the lug. Printing another might be in order with slightly thicker axles.
