Space Blower Exerciser

This object was created using Tinkercad and submitted to Pinshape for their call on useful items astronauts can 3D print in space. It's a human-powered personal blower that moves air for comfort, also providing a workout if made full size (100 mm). Try different positions or customize handles to prevent muscle atrophy. Various muscle combinations are exercised, including major limbs in multiple directions and hands and fingers. A half-size version can be seen in action here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B923oYusoMRGdUVCY24zdmkzVU0/view?usp=sharing. It's also a great target for fidgets. A raft is useful when sleeping on an unheated bed, requiring no supports if your machine can bridge reasonably well. Assembly is relatively easy: tie a comfortable loop of braided string or cord to any handle you like. With the loop untwisted, it's best to crank one side up by twisting the string and winding up the blower. Then, with practiced timing, tug to unwind, stopping before it unwinds completely so it can continue and wind up in the other direction - repeat as desired.
