Space Blower Exerciser

This thing was created using Tinkercad and submitted to Pinshape for their call on useful items astronauts can 3D print in space. It's a human-powered personal blower fan designed for moving air, providing comfort by staying cool! If made full-size (100 mm), the device will give you a no-nonsense workout. Try different positions and add ergonomic handles as desired to prevent muscle atrophy. Multiple muscle group combinations can be exercised using this design. Certainly major limbs in multiple directions, as well as hands and fingers, can be targeted. A raft is useful when printing on an unheated bed, and no supports are necessary if your machine has reasonable bridging capability. This design is very tolerant of printing in all resolutions. Assembly is relatively easy. Tie a comfortable loop of braided string or cord along with any handle you might want. With the loop untwisted to start, it's easiest to 'crank' one side up by twisting the string, thereby winding up the blower. Then, with practiced timing, tug to unwind, stopping before it is unwound so it can continue and wind up the other direction...and so forth.
