Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers)

This file is a remix of Luke's Space Battleship Yamato. You can find the uncut version at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1540625. The original file was one large piece, which doesn't work well when printing with a small printer bed and trying to make a bigger model. I had to break it down into several pieces to enlarge the ship and redesign parts of it due to a faulty slicer program. This print was done with 0.01 mm layer size, 50% infill, and low printing speed. Printer Details I used an XYZ Da Vinci Mini printer for this job. Raft Settings A raft is not necessary for this project. Supports This model requires supports. Resolution The resolution of the print was set to high. Infill The infill percentage was 50%. Post-Printing Steps After printing, I applied super glue to hold everything together. Then, I painted it with Acrylic Metallic Silver and Bright Red paint, finally glazing it with XTC-3D for a glossy finish.
