These are the Long-Lost Plans from the Lunar Colony Station. Supposedly, the Expansion Modules and Installations were Designed to be Constructed - but never were. Now, the blueprints have been Uncovered ! At least I uncovered the Designs - maybe lost by me too ... Oh well , now they have been Discovered by me ! Obviously, the Station Node Units feature Windows in the front view, with Doorways at the rear. The Modules can be Assembled and Linked together in various Combinations. The Tunnels can also connect the Doorways to other Modules (from the rear or the endcaps) and/or to Central Towers. These Tunnels are also intended to link to the Eagle Doorways. Notice in Image #2, that you can Peer through the Windows and Doorways Internally ... Images #4 and #5 showcase the 1999 Eagle converted into a Tourist Vessel, and the Eagle linked up to a Space Station Ship, respectively. Consoles, Equipment, Seating, and Personnel are left for the User to Install ... Obviously, erector parts (including 3mmx10mm bolts and nuts) are needed to build Models with these printed components. Parts: Station Pod Nodes, Walls, Node End Walls, Plates, etc. May want to refer to the Eagle 1999 Meccanno page for more Components. • Currently UNDER DEVELOPMENT * Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm - 0.8mm Nozzle Tips Notes: I printed these on a Mendel RepRap with 1.75mm fibre. I used a 0.8mm Nozzle Tip with 0.5mm Layer Height setting. Can use any tip from 0.2mm to 08mm; should print fine. It took between 3-10 minutes per part to print. Walls and Caps need to be Rotated 90-degrees to be Flat on the Table to print properly. Rafts are suggested for Large Nodes. Parts may be a little thin and fragile - so be careful when removing. Post-Printing Parts may have burrs and need filing to finish. If the bolts seem loose, gluegun may help. How I Designed This Used TinkerCad.
