The Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer Gepard, also known as the Flakpanzer Gepard, is a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) designed for all-weather use. Developed in the 1960s and deployed in the 1970s, it has been upgraded with modern electronics. The Gepard served as a significant component of the air defense for Germany's armed forces and several NATO nations. In late 2010, Germany replaced the Gepard with SysFla, an air defense system featuring both mobile and stationary capabilities. Employing the LFK NG missile and MANTIS gun system, SysFla is expected to utilize a GTK Boxer-based platform for its mobile version.
