I just designed my own GPS platform to mount it directly on a tail clamp, which is the best position for it, since there wasn't one available for SoxoS Helicopters. The printed part doesn't strain on thin parts of the model because of this. I recommend using PETG, as it gets hot in the sun or car and shouldn't warp. A 22mm Sinkscrew stainless steel is the best choice - it won't interfere with the compass.
