Sovol SV07 Filament Sensor Holder for Printhead
thingiverse
Hello There,So I am printing on a private and I encountered several times that my filament would "run out" on a longer print on like the last layers. So what I did was move the filament sensor directly to the printhead with this sensor holder.I included 3 files for you guys:Sensor_Clamp.stlFor your standard Sovol SV07 (Plus has the same printhead I believe) with enough room for pulling the unloading lever. For mounting the clamp to the printhead use the slightly longer screws from the original mount bracket on the spoolholder, clamp the sensor itself to the holder with the tapped backplate from the original mount.Sensor_Clamp_NoShroudFor you shroud-deleters out there I compensated the thinkness at the screwhole.Comes with a drawback though, you either have to use longer screws that you cannot recycle from original parts, or you have to print the holder with supports on the whole sensor mount area.Of course you also have to pull out the sensor cable out of the left y-axis frame, I am working on a spline solution for guiding that cable away from obstacles.Have fun!
