While it will totally help protect the cord from crimps and the most gentle of tugging, I admit that for me it was mostly the aesthetic. My version of this takes the ribbon cables out instead of back, and also does not sacrifice any of the z range as the original version did.I installed the bottom with drop in hammer nuts I printed... There are a few good designs that I have tried but I don't remember which ones I used on this project. Update I just realized I only originally uploaded the right hand upper part, and while it is simple in most slicers to mirror it I am uploading the left side now
