SOVOL SV01 Hotend
thingiverse
I wanted to reduce the noise of my heatbrake and replace it with a silent fan (noctua) 40mm without adding weight to the hotend. I remade the original design to fit onto the genuine plate of my sovol printer and secure directly on it, which reduces inactivity at the head. I was looking for ways to minimize the noise from my heatbrake and decided to replace it with a noctua 40mm silent fan without adding weight to my hotend. I redesigned the original system to fit onto the original plate of my sv01 printer and secure directly on it, which reduces inactivity and parasitic movements due to weight on the hotend. The new setup works perfectly with Perky's original duct design. Thanks for that! Note: This model should not be printed near heat sources because of proximity to the heating block. It was printed in PETG and did not warp.
