These lenses are a vintage set of Soviet prime lenses originally mounted on the Kiev 16u Movie camera. (For standard 16mm film format) "The picture-taking area of standard 16 mm is 10.26 mm × 7.49 mm (0.404 in × 0.295 in), an aspect ratio of 1.37:1, the standard pre-widescreen Academy ratio for 35 mm." The mount of the Kiev 16 U camera is an uncommon 32mm 0.5 pitch screw mounting method and the flange back distance is 31mm. There is a difference of about 2.2mm from the flange back of the general L39 mount, so it was designed as a simple extension conversion adapter. (L39 to L/M mount, etc.) And while these lenses are very small, there are advantages, but the disadvantage is that it is difficult to manipulate the focus ring. To improve this, the focus gearing part of the M0.8 standard gear pitch attached to the focus gear ring was additionally designed. The filter thread on the front of the lens is 35.5mm. I wanted to use a step-up ring because the 35.5mm filter isn't common. However, caution is required as vignetting may be severe on Mir-11M, Vega-7-1 if the filter step-up ring is installed. In the case of the Tair-41M, the long hood structure on the front can be rotated to remove it, which greatly increases the image circle area. (The separated part is the same as the 34mm filter thread, so you can attach a 34mm filter or a step-up ring.) By removing the ring on the back of the lens, you get an image circle that conforms to the APS-C format. However, since severe spherical aberration occurs around it, it is not recommended. The build quality of these lenses is generally satisfactory, but the quality of the grease is poor. After a long period of time, it hardens and does not function properly, so it is recommended to remove it and replace it with a new high-viscosity silicone grease. I also added the M32 to M39 conversion adapter and an adapter version that can be mounted directly to the M39 adapter in the link below. This improves the disadvantage of the screw mount method and has the advantage of securely fixing the lens using M4 grub screws(M4x4mm). File sharing is for sharing ideas.
