The Soviet Alarm Clock Raketa, also known as Rocket, is a classic timepiece produced in the 1980s within the USSR. This alarm clock played an integral role in the daily lives of Soviet citizens. Developed to closely replicate its authentic counterpart, this model incorporates numerous references to ensure accuracy and authenticity. The creation of this digital replica involved modeling using Blender software, without requiring any third-party plugins. The alarm clock's real-world dimensions are accurately represented, as depicted in the accompanying screenshot. All components and materials have been correctly named for seamless integration. Polycount statistics reveal 7942 vertices and 7799 faces without applying a Subdivision modifier. When subdivided to levels one and two, the numbers jump to 51741 vertices and 51410 faces. The UVs are meticulously arranged to avoid any overlap, ensuring optimal texture mapping. Two textures accompany this digital model: A normal OpenGL map for the backside, measuring 4096 x 4096 pixels in a 16-bit PNG format. A color map for the face side, sized at 1951 x 1944 pixels in PNG format. The provided Blend file contains materials, allowing users to apply their own custom modeling techniques. Exported files are available with and without the Subdivision modifier applied, as well as with non-applied subdivision for easy customization.
