South of the River in London, UK

myminifactory

This statue was created by local businesses to bring artistic flair to a predominantly financial district that lacked visual interest. The piece highlights the distinction between London's north and south banks of the Thames, which have historically divided the city in terms of wealth and social class. Designed and crafted by renowned sculptor Bernard Schottlander, the statue has stood at this location since 1976. It is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to compile a digital collection of fully printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access. This project is an open-source community effort, and those with interesting items they'd like to contribute can contact stw@myminifactory.com to learn more about participating.
