This is the start of a set of change gears for cutting threads on an 8TPI imperial leadscrew lathe; these were designed specifically for a South Bend lathe model 9C. The teeth feature a 14.5-degree pressure angle. The gear boasts a DP of 18. A module of 1.411 is also incorporated. True involute form is achieved. Each tooth is 3/8" wide, with a center bore of 0.5625". A key that is 1/8" wide is included. These gears will be packaged in sets of five. If you require additional gears, please let me know and I can investigate your needs. Print Settings: Rafting: Not necessary. Supports: None required. Resolution: A 0.3 resolution was used. Infill: 100% infill density. Important Notes: The center hole will likely print undersized, requiring cleaning to fit the shafts properly. Additionally, some cleanup around the teeth may be necessary.
