South Bend 9" Lathe Motor Mount
thingiverse
This part is designed to go onto the splined ends of the motor and then into the cradle for the motor mount on the spindle cone assembly of a belt drive 9" South Bend bench lathe. It may fit other lathes like a South Bend 10k or a clone like a Myford or Boxford or whatever the Brits call them. I'd recommend printing it at 100% infill using TPU. *update 7/31/23* Added a revised version (sb-motor-mount-3.stl) that has a small slot taken out so that it has a little bit of flex to help seating onto the motor mount spline. I recommend printing at 30% infill using TPU, but it works in PLA as well.
