Sousaphone valve oil residue protection with residue box

I play my Yamaha Sousaphone regularly, and unfortunately, my skirts often get dirty from oil residue that seeps out of the venting holes at the bottom of the valve house. To prevent this problem, I created a protective device for the valves, which collects any dirty oil into a separate container. Today, I used it during the 17th of May celebration in Norway with fantastic results - my white skirt remained spotless after playing. Two rubber bands were all I needed to secure the device to the valve bottoms. Check out the attached photos for more details.
