Sous Vide / Water Oven Temperature controller enclosure
thingiverse
This compact DIY sous vide cooker, as detailed in Seattle Food Geek's excellent article (http://seattlefoodgeek.com/2010/02/diy-sous-vide-heating-immersion-circulator-for-about-75/), was successfully used by me. The original enclosure seemed a bit flimsy, so I designed a sturdier replacement. I made a few changes in my setup: opted for a larger pump (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006K31WLC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), added a plexiglass circle in front of the retaining nut for extra strength, and installed this power switch (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002ZPBKW/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Give DIY sous-viding a try; it's fantastic!
